We believe durable raised garden beds provide the best protected growing spaces for fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Our goal is to make gardening accessible to everyone with our raised beds so more people can reap the mental and physical benefits associated with gardening.

Meet our company founder...

Blane Tetreault, our company founder, discovered the intersection of his passion and purpose when he found gardening. This led to the desire to create spaces (raised garden beds) to practice his new found hobby.

After many attempts (and failures) at building beds (including one built from the remnants of a neighbor's deck), Blane sought to build the most efficiently constructed, durable, and aesthetically pleasing beds possible. Garden du Nord beds are the result that he proudly presents to you.

Blane volunteers as a University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener. He completed a permaculture design course through Oregon State University. He co-founded the Clover Valley Farm Trail, the Clover Valley Farmers Market in Duluth Township, and participates in the Two Harbors Farmers Market and the SFA Lake Superior Harvest Festival. He also operates Farm du Nord and Duluth Surf Co. in Duluth Township with his wife and two daughters.
